Political prisoner and human rights activist Nargess Mohammadi who is presently hospitalized in Iran-Mehr Hospital under tight security protection with her hands and feet chained to the bed, is in critical conditions.
Saturday, October 24, 2015, when a group of mothers of execution victims had gone to hospital to visit Ms. Mohammadi, she fainted in the arms of Ms. Gohar Eshghi, mother of slain web blogger Sattar Beheshti. She was subsequently returned to her room. Ms. Mohammadi suffers from lung embolism and muscular paralysis. Hospital nurses said her condition is serious.
