Susan Tabiyanian, a Baha’i citizen in the city of Semnan, and mother of two young children aged 7 and 12, was sentenced to one year prison. She was convicted for conducting interviews with foreign media outlets about the Baha’i community’s poor economic status. Susan went to the city’s revolution court on Wednesday, December 24 and was transferred to prison. She is the only Baha’i woman in Semnan Prison.
