Haghighat-pour, a member of the Iranian regime’s Majlis’ (parliament) National Security Commission called the recent acid attacks as a ‘small crime’ and said, “We must not involve the government and judiciary system in small crimes.”
He added, “In fact, acid attacks and other such crimes are small incidents that must not be portrayed as big stories in the media across the country to create such an atmosphere that the president has to talk about it. This hurts the country’s national security.”
