Speech to the FreeIran2020 Global Summit: Iran Rising Up for Freedom – Resistance Units Key to Victory
Ladies and gentlemen, dear freedom fighters in Ashraf3, my name is Sara and I am a student from Slovakia.
I live in a democratic country and I cannot imagine living in a country where the government violates human rights. A country where due to its misogynist law, women get arrested just because they want to choose how to dress. Where people are killed because they do not agree with this system and express their opinion in protest. Where innocent children are killed. Children like 14-year-old Nikta, who had her all live ahead and could change the world.
Everyone dreams to live in a world where everyone has equal rights. Where no one is killed or oppressed for their opinion or belief. Where everyone lives in free and safe lives.
Today, I am here to say to the brave people in Iran that we hear you and we are with you in your fight. We are all here to fight on the side of the resistant units for freedom.
I am here to be your voice, to tell you that I care. If we want to see a change we have to work together. We have to shout. We have to fight. We have to do whatever we can to overthrow this evil regime and end this injustice to free Iran and make this world a better place to live.
Let us fight for the Iranian youth who are right now in streets in Iran and in prisons across the country.
There is hope for free Iran, so it is worth fighting for. We can and we must change the world together. Let us make free Iran 2020 a reality.
