A group of nurse aides staged a gathering in front of the Department of Justice in Kermanshah, western Iran, to protest the Health Ministry’s breach on its pledges.
One of the women participating in this protest explained, “The Ministry of Health offered a year-long course for training nurse aides in 2015. They promised to employ those who graduate from this course. One year after receiving our licenses, however, they have been announced as invalid and they say we are not nurse aides, but assistant nurse aides. We urge officials of the Justice Department to attend to this case.”
Students of the University of Sciences and Naval Skills in Khorramshahr, southern Iran, staged protests for two consecutive days, December 18 and 19, 2017. They demanded officials to attend to their problems and respond to their legal demands.
