Ali Molazadeh, a director of the Ministry of Interior in Iran stressed on the necessity to implement a strict clothing regulations plan, reminding of Khamenei’s personal emphasis in this regard.
“[Our bureau] in the Ministry of Interior is active in expanding the culture of virtue, clothing regulations and explaining the rights of citizens,” he said. “The leader is concerned about these two issues and they must be seen to.”
He went on to underscore that to carry out this plan orders have been issued to 27 executive and administrative apparatuses in the form of 310 articles.
“These measures are in line with expanding the culture of virtue and proper clothing,” he added.
“The conditions of virtue and clothing regulations in private areas, including the police, administrative offices and sub-offices of the judiciary will all be reviewed,” Molazadeh continued.
He also explained under this plan kindergartens and malls will also be under supervision. (State-run Mehr news agency – October 21, 2015)
