Haddad Adel, a member of the Iranian regime’s parliament from Tehran delivered a speech on the anniversary of the segregated al-Zahra University and once again attempted to force girls into their homes.
“This university, celebrating its 50 anniversary, allocated to ladies, has another meaning now. There are no concerns about studying physics, chemistry and theology at this university. However, I believe this university should also provide classes on home management. There must be a field for a girl who doesn’t wish to work or no job is found for her. This field must make her successful in her family life. If women see home management as a job, many problems in the society will actually be resolved.”
