The Guardian Council of the mullahs’ regime has complained about the plan supporting agents of “promoting virtue and preventing vice” presented in the regime’s parliament, including article 9 of this bill indicating, “Legal and factual individuals are not allowed to create obstacles before the implementation of promoting virtue and preventing vice.”
Based on this bill creating any obstacle or disturbance in these measures is considered a crime and in addition to the punishments defined, it will also lead to time behind bars and a financial fine.
According to this article, the money gathered from these punishments will be sent to the country’s treasury and placed at the disposal of the office of promoting virtue and preventing vice.
