Mothers of the martyrs of the November 2019 uprising seek justice

November 14, 2021
in Videos

Excerpts from the declaration of 38 mothers of the martyrs and relatives of the November 2019 victims in support of the workers’ nationwide strikes:

Our beloved children stepped into a path in 2017 and 2019. They laid down their lives to gain their inalienable rights.

Today, their call has turned into a public demand, emerging in the form of nationwide strikes.

We are certain that we are nearing the ultimate day of a public uprising and a nationwide upheaval to seek justice.

We will see the masterminds and perpetrators of four decades of crimes and genocide before popular and national courts.

We will not forgive, nor forget!

Mahboubeh Ramezani, the mother of Pejman Qolipour: “You know that you were destroyed in the November 2019 uprising, but the uprising continues. Unless you destroy all the families of the victims.”

The mother of Mohammad Taheri, one of the victims of the crackdown on the November 2019 uprising: “The crackdown on the November 2019 uprising was one of the shameless crimes of the Islamic Republic in the past 42 years. I should say it was a deliberate murder. Because the troops had received orders to commit the deliberate murders.”

The mother of Mehrdad Moinfar, one of the mothers of the martyrs of November 2019 uprising: “With other dear mothers, we wish for the annihilation of the murderers, for the freedom of Iran and Iranians. Because my son, Mehrdad, gave his dear life for his country and for his people. And today, I am the voice of my son, Mehrdad.”

Mahboubeh Ramezani: “The mothers of (the martyrs of) the November 2019 uprising are your nightmare. Whenever you see any of the mothers of the martyrs of November 2019, you will shake from fear. The mothers of the November 2019 uprising will bring about your overthrow. We will take revenge.”

We will not forgive nor forget!

We will not forgive nor forget!  We will not forgive nor forget!

Farzaneh Ansarifar, the sister of Farzad Ansarifar: “You deprived Farzad from his right to life but you cannot take away my right to cry out. I cry out. I will continue to cry out until the day justice is upheld.”

The mother of Vahid Damvar: “Ebrahim Raisi is a murderer. He has been killing people since 1981.”

The Call for Justice Movement calls for the prosecution of the masterminds and perpetrators of crimes against humanity in the bloody crackdown on the November 2019 uprising. Supporting the mothers and families seeking justice for the victims is a humanitarian duty.

ABOUT US

NCRI Women Committee

We work extensively with Iranian women outside the country and maintain a permanent contact with women inside Iran. The Women’s Committee is actively involved with many women’s rights organizations and NGO’s and the Iranian diaspora.
The committee is a major source of much of the information received from inside Iran with regards to women. Attending UN Human Rights Council meetings and other international or regional conferences on women’s issues and engaging in a relentless battle against the Iranian regime’s misogyny are part of the activities of members and associates of the committee.
