13-year-old Soghra Najafpour spent 25 years of her youth in prison and was only released at the age of 38. She was pardoned after the death of the murder victim’s father.
Soghra was imprisoned back in 1989 while she was only 13-years-old. She had previously been homeless for 8 years during the Iran-Iraq War. Under the mullahs’ inhumane laws, no one is granted mercy.
