Jannati, Tehran’s Friday prayer leader said, “Hijab is not just a Sharia issue that plays an essential role in the society. It is not an easy issue, those who had readily accepted death in order to defend hijab, were right.”
The Secretary of the Guardian Council added, “I don’t know what must be done, a powerful headquarters must be set up, individuals with full authority and tools must sit down and find a solution. I hold administrative officials responsible.”
