Call to save the life of Reyhaneh Jabbari, young Iranian architect who is at the verge of execution for defending her dignity
While over hundred years has passed since equality movement started, Reyhaneh Jabbari, a young Iranian architect, has spent more than seven years in the misogynous mullahs’ regime prison for defending her dignity against rape by an intelligence agent of the Iranian regime. She is at the verge of execution.
The women committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran asks all equality movement activists for help to save the life of Reyhaneh Jabbari so that by saving her not just one life against unjust execution verdict is saved but also the dignity of Iranian women is honored.
The following signatories call on the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Ms. Navi Pillay, UN Women Executive Director Ms. Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, chairperson of CEDAW Ms. Nicole Ameline and other women rights activists to immediately intervene to prevent brutal and misogynistic execution of Reyhaneh Jabari and save her life.
