Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai has urged world leaders to guarantee all refugee children access to a full 12-year education.
The UNHRC has estimated that there are more than 21 million refugees in the world. Half of the refugees are children and the majority of them are from Syria, Afghanistan and Sudan.
According to Malala’s foundation, more than 80 per cent of young refugees are girls and do not go to school.
